If you've got a wii u you can use it to bridge you online.

But even still, offline is pretty great. I couldn't get into MH Tri at all because of how tedious it was at first, but MH3U held my hand at the start while I learned the ropes and I poured 300 hours into that game completely solo, getting up to G rank and only stopping because the only thing left to do was hunt rubies and stuff alone. That's when it gets boring - having to do 20 runs just for an average of 1 drop. Before then droprates are totally fair, and it's less like farming and more like practicing. The fun is the fight itself and learning how to handle an enemy, change your approach with armor skills, etc.

Great game, worth the full price, definitely worth half price.

Resident Evil Revelations on Wii U and 3DS is on sale on their respective eShops until Halloween. Wii U version is $20 and 3DS version is $10.

$10 for the 3DS version is a great deal. The game feels like if somebody tried to make a game like the REmake or RE0 but using game mechanics like RE4. (I imagine the game is pretty good on Wii U as well, but I haven't played it.)

RE: Mercenaries is also $10, but I've heard that game is pretty weak. I kinda sorta might pick it up anyway since I'm a sad Resident Evil nut, but probably not.

Yeah great deal on both of them for sure. If I didn't already own it on Steam I would probably get the Wii U version. I might go ahead and get 3DS version though since its only $10 and it will give me an excuse to use my circle pad pro XL on something other than MH3U and Nano Assault EX

For the record: Resident Evil Revelations on Wii U is $40 on Amazon, but $50 is the normal list price on the eShop. So depending on how you look at this sale, it's either 40% off or 60% off.
