They're pretty awesome. Probably too awesome, since my Sandy Bridge will probably last me a long, long time and I can pop in an Ivy Bridge if I ever wanted to.

AMD, well... the Fusion APUs are awesome for budget laptops and the ultra book form factor. I'm totally considering picking up an ultra book with a Trinity APU whenever they come around to coming out.

2) perhaps get a good computer

3) learn to use its HDMI/USB ports

I do believe it has more to do with money, or justifying it...
I am one of them who likes to keep games to consoles and schoolwork and whatnot for my PC.

Since all my games - the games I play - are console only, with the exeption of PSU and PSO, to a degree... For me, it feels like a huge hassle and an unecessary blow to my wallet to buy a new or, well, upgrade my PC to run this one game.
It would be so much easier to just do as always and place money on just the purchase of the game...
I think that is what many others also feel who desire a console release...

(and lets not forget that I DID buy a new PS2 to be able to play PSU...)

This is my sentiment as well. It's just easier for me to keep "gaming" on my gaming consoles. Much cheaper. Most people use their PC's for what you've already mentioned above. I can surf the net on my consoles but I don't...I use it just for gaming. The PC guys will always flame on me for this.

I may have to dip into my savings for this one though as the new videos look pretty darn good and who knows when the next console PS game will ever come.

You missed the most important spec he mentioned, it's on a Mac, meaning he can't play it at all. Windows only so either boot camp it or use the real thing.

Also, I got a 9800gtx+ 512mb, am I good?

Lol, yeah.. even if it wasn't a mac, integrated graphics isn't gonna get you anywhere. Probably not even on low, and definitely not on medium.

And you should be good Cayenne.. but it'd help to know about the rest of your system lol.
