There is a laptop, an ACER, at 500 euros (~ $700) with these specs :
15.6" Screen with a resolution of 1366x768
Intel Core i3-3217U at 1.8GHz (Dual-Core with Hyper-Threading)
8GB of RAM
Graphic Card : NVIDIA GeForce 820M 1GB VRAM DDR3
1 TB HDD
Windows 8.1 64 bits
Do you think it will run PSO2 and what would be the settings i could use ?
That cpu is pretty low end though, that U means ultra low voltage and lowered speed so i would get one with a better cpu even though that gpu is decent, you can probably run it at med settings but dunno about max since that speed will make it struggle to keep it running at max with shuttering and slowdown with alot of action going on.

When you're saying "mid-settings" you mean at 2,3 or 4? 3 would be good enough for me as my previous laptop (who died recently, the motherboard) runned at 3 at a res of 1366x768.
I would say at least 3 but you can try higher and test if you get slowdown at higher settings and adjust it until you get a stable framerate in lobby or lots of action going on.
You guys should really buy a proper PC...
Thank you for the horse, Brandon.
I have a 5 year old laptop running ATI Mobility Radeaon HD 5470 1gig on an ASUS mobo Intel i3.
I run this game smooth as baby butt. Here are my photos (I am the author of this blog as well).
It is not the TOP looking, but it sure is not bad for some one mobile on a card less than 7 or 8 series

OK so that will be good enough. The fact is my laptop died at the wrong moment and I can't go more than 500 euros (~ 700$ ) for now and I won't be able to get a proper PC before the end of the year (I will probably get a proper desktop PC then, since I don't have one). I need a laptop for my studies if you want to know why I insist with the laptop.
