I don't really like the setting, and the whole war focused plot.
Reminds of Fantasy Eart Zero, in an interesting, yet bad way.
Maybe an action mmo version of this would've have been better than... Well whatever happened to Final Fantasy 14.
Gameplay looks nice, really wish they didn't do this "let's make 4 FFXIII games and try something new with all of them and just end up making Final Fantasy with kingdom hearts gameplay on most of them." and instead actually put some money in to OTHER franchises...
I wonder if they could have made way more money making a new chrono trigger, Kingdom Hearts 3 or a Mana game. You know, in place of a few of their 5(not even finished yet) final fantasy 13's.
AYY. All you nillas days is numbered.
I think that's a J-Rock band...
I remember cause I used to love J-rock enough to actually differentiate between bands I liked or not. (where as new people are like OMG ANIME/GAME MUSIC SEX YAY NEW FAVE BAND) and not liking that band.
OR IT COULD BE ENGRISH.
AYY. All you nillas days is numbered.

I'm likin this battle system more and more thus far. As simple and old as the method of just collecting a pickup from defeated monsters to replenish ability powers is, I honestly prefer it over potion-only use. Will have to wait about a half hour to watch the vid though. My bandwidth is crappy and I have a game DLing, so I'll wait until that is done.
Finally watched the release date vid. Crazy how far they've managed to push the hardware of the PSP over the years.
I know someone said something about disliking it, but I'm really diggin the whole war thing and at least the aesthetics of the world. While I'd still do it, I'm kind of sick of just seeing flat out fleshy monster after monster in games (speaking in general.) Having a more tech heavy setting and fighting mechanical weapons is pretty cool in my book. Not that it's new to FF (hell, I loved FF7 primarily for it's futuristic, almost dystopian setting, even if I hated nearly the entire second half of the actual story,) but it seems especially heavy in this one, though at the same time looking kind of archaic.
