Default Arock and the Lost Marbles

Hello, this is my art thread.

NOTE: I go by a lot of different names in the PSO community, but in art and design land I go by Arock.

I became inspired by all the lovely art I've been seeing here lately, so I decided it was time to start showing my stuff here again.

I've been in a funk lately so don't expect this updated very often. I just wanted to contribute a little.

    Ready? Let's begin:

The first items I wish to share are skate deck graphics for a project that never came to fruition and ended on a sour note. I put a lot of work into them, so I don't want them wasted.
The idea was that the use of multiple illustrations combined would have a sort of narrative. Some worked out better than others, but I'm pleased overall. In case you're interested, they were going to be silkscreened with two screens each.
This is the first time these have been shown outside those who were involved in the project.

The next two items are from a DVD packaging campaign that I included in my final graduation portfolio show. I put a lot of time into this set of items, though I felt these two are all I need to show here to get the general idea across. It's a project that is very close to my heart.

The last thing Imma post today is just something I did for fun. Also, I like type-Tetris'

Well, that's all I have prepared for today. Like I said, I probably won't update much but I'll make sure to get stuff up here when I have it ready.

If you'd like to check out more of my design work, check out my portfolio website at www.arockdesign.info.
my art portfolio site should be coming soonish.

Also, please don't misuse or steal images. I'm still trying to get a job and might need to use these for portfolio presentations. All stuff here is copyright me.

    Thanks for viewing!

...can I write stuff with you guys?

Edit: and now that my phone decided to load the pictures, I can see what I think. Western styled art? How unique! So what's this DVD thing? Can I see more?

Also have you considered joining Q's monthly art conests? They're pretty fun. This month is childhood!

Hi again, everybody! Thanks for all the feedback!

Rock - I'm down. I love collaborative comics. Perhaps about a lawnmower that falls in love with a duck. I dunno, man. It's your call!

Sayara - Thus reunited is the dark covenant of the adorable and scary. Good to be back. I was worried my work had lost it's Sayara-level creepitude!
AROKKAGLE for life, yo. I see a collab in the future, perhaps?

Zora - I'd tots like to write stuff with you. You seem to have a lot of ideas.
    Western art? Is that shocking?
I haven't considered Q's challenges yet because my digital skills are lacking. I guess I'm just nervous. Maybe I'll try next month. I'm terrible at drawing children.
BTW, you can see more of the DVD package here: http://www.arockdesign.info/mats.html

Qoxolg - Thanks! I spent so many hours just getting the concepts for each design right, let alone the actual art. Ugh, I still want to do something with them, maybe at least make one. I know a guy in town who silk screens.

Rock again - BUT HOW TO DO IT I DON'T KNOW.

Hopefully update this weekend! If I'm in a good mood!
Thanks again, space cats! You are all my lovely friends!

    WE'RE MAKIN' THIS HAPPEN

Does a pretentious duck have to change in a better person, just to make the person he loves happy? Even if that person is a gardening tool? And will Sammy(Samantha) be willing to let her deceased father's favorite lawn mower go? Even for a Talking Hipster Duck?
