Well, I was thinking the CD drive and the HDD you mentioned in the first post would probably be compatible for such a setup still.
Edit: The one that I threw together at $612.92 is exactly $35 more dollars than the one you listed in the OP.
Edit2: I took a close look at that Motherboard I listed, and apparently it only has a PCI 2.0 slot. The GPU is a 3.0 so unless you don't mind bottle necking your GPU's speed, I found this Motherboard instead(only $3 more too as long as my previous listing stays on sale) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131887

You should never cheap out on the mother board. It's one of the most important pieces in a computer.
Also, why does nobody ever use http://pcpartspicker.com/ ? It's like the best and most user friendly site out there.
When I look at the parts mentioned I had a bit of a chuckle at some of the parts to play this game.
Sure it's good if you wanna add extra filters and stuff but you can shave off some of the money just going with a full AMD system
Like I'm running all maxed except my AA on a 4850, AMD 955 @ 3.2GHz, and 4GB DDR3 1600
FPS in lobby is like 40-55 though lobby is more a social hangout so it doesn't bother me.
One in the maps it usually is around 50-63 fps and during combat rarely goes below 40fps.
There are some settings I can turn off obviously and sit 55-63 during crazy combat times but meh, I play consol games on the PS3 and sometimes see worse and below 30fps on them but still can play just fine.
Though this is why you can build an AMD system for more bang for your buck
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819113280 ($130)
Stock 3.8GHz and turbo of 4.2 Also have a decent video card onboard that you can croddfire with another 6670.
Also the video card in the quote say 4850 6850
if comparing, it's WAAAYYY OFF
4850 is just a tiny bit behind the 6750 1GB

I hope this thread is still alive. Okay, here goes. I'm considering getting a new PC to replace my laptop for a better gaming experience. I've never build one before, but I'm willing to try via Newegg's guide on YT.
My dream pc is one that can run PSO2 at max settings, handle forced AA, and capable of dual monitors. Also has a good FPS during combat, like my framerate drops whenever zondeel spamming is on my screen. It's bad because I lose sight of mobs sometimes and hits me out of nowhere.
My budget is somewhere around $1,000. I don't know much about pc terminology, but I can be patient. I'd appreciate any help.
For $1000, you can have everything you wanted and more probably. Currently I have two clients (work) so ill have to fight to find time to scope one out for you though.
If you can get the following I would...
4770k intel CPU
16GB Ram
7970 AMD or 680 NVidia for the graphics card....

Don't rush or force yourself. I'm willing to wait. All in all, I still appreciate your help.
Wow, how come I haven't seen this thread before? I love helping out on Computer Builds. <3
Feel free to provide your input and help too. The more people, the more merrier!
Been a while since I was on here, but I finally got some money to invest into a cheap gaming rig.
I'm wondering if this GPU http://www.memory4less.com/m4l_itemd...Fa9_Qgod73kABg is compatible with PSO2?
My absolute maximum budget is $500 & that has to include tax & shipping. No idea if the previously mentioned (throughout the whole topic) builds are still viable / available, so any help / suggestions would be welcome.
Spoiler!
