but on another note i really don't see Infinity being brought to the west.
The psp's lifespan is going out, and it really seems like they are going full force with Pso2.
Thats just my opinion though.

No. You wont be playing with us JP players. Last hope for US/EU localization was TGS iirc and nothing about Infinity was mentioned.

But isn't TGS for showcasing upcoming games for the region and not games that are being released outside of Japan?

Servers have been split since PSU. Not much of a choice on our part. EU is also integrated as well, it's basically Japan or the rest of the world.
Some of the funnest times I ever had in PSO was with JP players. I learned the basic common phrases in Japanese from some of the players that spoke English well. Going into a room and everyone putting the rares and items picked up in a huge pile next to the bank to share and split...

It's unfortunate now with different versions, updates, licenses, and generally speaking of how they view the rest of the world now. If they did localize this it'll most likely have about half the content just like PSP2.
