I think you've got that country-bumpkin dialect down pat.
Great read as always.

Good chapter. I love logging in during lunch to see a new fanfic chapter.
Awesome read
I think these kind of mash-ups are great. It creates possibilities tone creative, yet everyone that reads recognizes the subject.
Also society/culture can change all ways, and it doesn't always move forward (dark ages in Europe anyone?)
Although I do visual art, I've been thinking of mashing-up PSO with steampunk and that kind of stuff.
It's interesting to imagine a series of events that would lead the futuristic setting of Pioneer 2 to regressing into the more rugged and primitive one being portrayed in the story. It almost seems ludicrous that society could lose the progress of milllenia in a few short decades, but given a force large enough to take out that inertia (say, a megalomaniac corporation), it's plausible, leaving one to wonder what it was they did, exactly.
And the plot thickens. Great stuff.

(Insert intellegent-sounding compliment here).
What? I'm tired!
Interesting chapter and as always, hoping to see another well on its way.
Nice use of the foreshadowing at the beginning.

Great chapter. You really have a way with speeches.

One question though; aren't the Hunters six strong? Nick, Laurel, Pris, Canaan, Penny, and Mason? Or has Mason not truly committed yet?
