Well, the patch is a plugin, so any CFW that supports plugins; Just as XxPSOmanxX says. Not just PRO's CFW.

Coldbird has posted, saying the patch makes use of specific functions that are in PRO CFW, and not other firmware (especially the older ones). Considering that PRO CFW is open source, it is possible that the other current firmwares will have implemented the same functions from PRO CFW. So, not all CFW.
Just a question here, coming from a future PSP Go owner who has access to a PSP-1000 to rip UMDs, would it be preferable to have the game as a ripped UMD or Digital Download for playing the patch online with PRO CFW?
