back after 2 year layoff with some ?s

I just got back on PSU. Before I stopped playing there was talk about a big content update. One of the things mentioned was equipping armor from the shortcuts menu. How do I do this? What else is new since I left? I did notice some classes have expanded weapons options, and I'm sure lots of new items have released. I'm more interested finding out what game play mechanics have changed if any of you can help me out with this. Thank you.

The armour feature is on the PSP only.

There are some new drops etc, but the major change is the addition of advanced missions - see GAS on psupedia.

You can use /sl lightning instead of thunder, and /sl ground instead of earth.
