The problem now is that it instantly crashes my Open Beta client, I need to find out why.

ALT-~ (tilde): Cycles between kana and direct input mode
ALT-SHIFT: Cycles through available languages
ALT-CAPS_LOCK: Switches to katakana input mode
CTRL-CAPS_LOCK: Switches to hiragana input mode
SHIFT-ALT: Switches between English mode and Japanese mode.
Control - ~: Switches between the current input mode and the English mode within the Japanese IME.

...Oh that was the in-game IME? Alt+shift is my default IME switch shortcut, didn't even notice. D:;

Throwing this out there, not sure if it only works with Windows' IME:

F6 - switch the currently converting phrase to hiragana
F7 - switch '' to katakana
F8 - switch '' to half width katakana (this -> ﾉｼ)

I was trying this yesterday and could not get it to work. Think perhaps I forgot to swap to JP IME before launching the game. Another of my derpy moments in this game.
