Error: 104

I have been trying to get this game to start, but ever since open beta I've been coming across this problem.

I believe that says something like the files that it's trying to update are in use so it can't update them? Someone with better Japanese have any idea? I would run a file check (3rd option in the laucnher) and see what happens.

I get the same error with the file check option also.

Update failed due to not being able to modify stuffs in the folder. Run the patcher as administrator.

Actually, set it so the game always run as an admin. Or turn off UAC.

I had something similar (Error No.106). I just exited the start up menu and started back up, and it worked (until I run into a pso2.exe error blah).

Hrm, I did it to where it always runs as admin. But no change and I can't turn off UAC, any other things I can do. I ran fine during closed beta.

Hrm, I guess I'll just try a long and painful redownload for this.
