    What exactly are the graphs that pop up in the MP areas for?

    those are "omens" indicating that conditions are right for a PSE occuring. Get with another party and Kill group mobs and a PSE may start.
    I wish every PSO-World member playing PSO2 would have this outlook/attitude:
