I did a few paru runs solo and with friends looking for divine power. found 5 fronakeds none drop one but one droped a sonti soul and i was not looking for one. so how hard is it to get one and do only those enemys drop it?

It's an area drop, as in EVERY enemy in Paru has a miniscule chance of dropping it, just like the Shinobi Suit, or the Lieucon Stihl/Emerald tablet/Twin Brand in Hard. Chances are pretty slim, though. My approximations render it to about... 1 in 3000-5000 Paru enemies killed will net you one (basically 1 in 40-60 COMPLETE runs), on average. It's decently rare. I've only managed to get 4 in about nearly 250 Super Paru runs, but I know of others who have gotten about as many as me in much less, so it's give or take.

I only ever got one Soniti Soul in the two years or so I've played PSZ and Super Paru is one of the most frequented areas when playing online too. I haven't been as lucky as Chaos Rappy above me.
And others have been luckier than me... go figure. :/
But, alas, I only figure my mathematics using pre-recorded totals and results. On average, I've seen people who have run an verage of 150-200 Super Paru runs and gotten just as many Soniti's as me, I believe (some COULD have been traded and thrown off my numbers, who can say?), so that's pretty much all I can say regarding that. Maybe I have been lucky to get 4 of my own in that amount of runs, maybe not, it's all up to judgment.

I think I've done about 30-40 or so SH Paru runs (Maybe more, can't check right now) and only found one. There's my two cents on this whole thing.
Which only helps prove my theorum regarding the droprate likelihood, being an approximate 1:40 ratio in your case. :P

Weird... I've done Paru a good 70 times on SH (estimate) and gotten 10+ Soniti Souls. I'm guessing luck? I don't break a lot of boxes either.
You mean the boxes like the ones that are randomly placed throughout the rooms, or the treasure boxes after beating enemies?

Well, seeing as Soniti souls come out of treasure boxes (the ones that appear when enemies die), that's a pretty moot point.
