Shared Bank Across Ships? Anyone Getting The Rappy Plate?

So, Sega is offering a reward to people who create a character on ships 6-10, it looks to be a rappy plate room decoration. I want to make an alt, but I want to go on one of those ships for the reward.

I wanted to know a couple things:

1) Which 6-10 ship has the best English-speaking community?

2) I know there's a shared bank, but do characters have to be on the same ship? Does anyone have two characters on two different ships?

Bank is only shared on the same ship I believe, this is from my vague memory of my ship 6 alt from closed beta

I remember someone saying there is a shared bank of like 5 slots or something for Premium Users (?) If my memory serves me correctly....
