Impact slider, and don't worry it's closer to doubled damage than tripled damage. Sega's not crazy, they're only giving it an additional 1.35x bonus at 16. It's fine. Everything is fine.

edit: Trying to describe PA modifiers and their gains with new levels with any semblance of brevity is fucking impossible, since everyone will define things differently. You can't say "an additional 135%" because then someone reads the % in the window as a discrete unit (which it may as well be), and gets flustered because +x% gains is less than the difference in the window. You can't say "an additional 39whatever%" for the opposite reason. You've just highlighted why you can't also describe it as an additional decimal multiplier, and someone else surely would have shown up to naysay 2.35x as well.

Those PA values are so arbitrary already it's pointless to try and rationalize them.
Has anyone actually done any tests to see if Impact Slider 16 is that accurate of an increase in damage over 15? I know it's significant, but if it doesn't match the numbers shown to you, there's no reason to read them other than "big spike in power."
We already know how worthless % increases on crafted techs are in the face of conserving PP.
Yup, it's a bit more than doubled damage in my experience. It's completely worth getting. Or, well, using. I don't know if anything is worth farming caves for.
