tfw 13* with elemental weakness only does 7% more damage than a 12* without it. At least the damage is unconditional with a bonus of reduced PP costs.
Looks like it. It's a Level 65 Bal Rodos, which means it isn't VH AQ (caps at 60) or SH AQ (which starts from 66 onwards I believe).

I honestly agree that a fair few of the ares weapons look utterly ridiculous and dumb, but that's just me.
Edit: Looking over them again, I really do feel like the our buster sword here is about the worst offender though. Definitely a different looking style, if not to my tastes.

But with Xie Launcher you can say "Hey look, I have a tailed fireworks launcher.", while Ares is uuh... I don't know what it is exactly and Slave looks like a flower that dead 157 years ago.
Edit : Nvm for Slave Launcher, just noticed those aren't petals but wings/feathers.

Ares Lawnchair is based on the fortified(A-whatever you call it) PB, so I'm just going to call it a shell launcher.
All Ares weapons based on the fortified PB are fugly anyway, avoid.
All the ones based on the unicorn are fugly too except the partizan.
The fish(Ketos) based PB ones are cool.
Goddess(Julius) based PB ones are cool too.
Warrior(Ilios) based are okay.
