Even with its myriad problems, I still enjoyed the several dozen hours I've poured into Phantasy Star Zero. It looks fantastic as far as 3D games on DS go, and I'd rank it among the better loot treadmills currently available for the handheld. Just don't go in expecting a flawless -- or particularly modern -- experience.

If you are looking for a decent, loot grabbing adventure and you only have a DS, I suggest giving Phantasy Star Zero a try, but the interface is kind of clunky, and the overall game feels limited by the DS hardware. I think this game would fare much better on another system. If you have a PSP as well as a DS, I can't recommend Phantasy Star Portable enough over this game. It's just infinitely better than Phantasy Star Zero. I am of course referring to the single player campaigns of these games. If you intend to play online, then Phantasy Star Zero might be a better choice for you, but single player-wise, stick with Phantasy Star Portable. There is so much more to do, and it's done so much better.

Probably because he chose the lowest only to help him realize that, even in the lowest scoring reviews, it still gives good credit to PSZ for being a good game in the end for what it's supposed to be? Everything else is simply going to be a better than them once he looks for more reasonings... :P

I'm guessing you're frustrated with the game, Mazunoko, because you cannot find people to play the online multiplayer with. I wouldn't be surprised if you have other accounts on PSO-World (not saying you do but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case nonetheless) that have posts trying to find people to play the game with. Here are the following ways anyone on PSO-World will not succeed in finding people to play PSZ with:

1. You expect people to PM you to play instead of taking initiative to find others to play with.

2. You only posted in that sticky "post your F/C" thread that the OP doesn't update anymore and barely anyone even reads.

3. You don't join any active PSZ groups (for example, this one: http://www.pso-world.com/forums/group.php?groupid=295 ).

4. You don't fully understand the concept of Friend Codes on a DS game.

5. You don't realize that Phantasy Star Zero, in of itself, is an older DS game with a population of players that's down to a trickle and it's more difficult nowadays to get a party together whenever you feel like.
