    Logically Orchestra should do more damage since:
    1. It immobilizes you.
    2. It has little reach.
    3. It has a lot of hits and therefore takes a while to execute.


    Too bad logic and SEGA don't seem to mix and Bloody Sarabande seems to do more damage.

    Against a Beize:
    Orchestra:
    1,900x6
    5,400x1
    Total: 16,800

    Bloody Sarabande:
    3,100x4
    3,700x3
    Total: 23,500

    Yeah, Orchestra should be doing more damage, the power notation is much higher too, but oh well :/

    And here I was -- using Bloody Sarabande for crowd control and Orchestra for 1-on-1 aerial combat...

    Nevertheless, I wonder if that new Twin Dagger PA will replace Orchestra for single target damage? Then again, that new skill looks like it can potentially hit multiple targets within the area of the animation.

    We shall see next week~

    Facet did not revive this thread, nor did Chaos Riser. RIP, RIP I say. Fotm rerolling is strong in this game.

    Chaos Riser can replace Zondeel. I already saw it used pretty effectively in AQs.

    Facet Folia is a bit underwhelming, in that it isn't really overpowered or anything, but it's good damage with invulnerability. You'll still need Bloody Sarabande and Symphonic Drive, but you can still find a use for it, I'm sure.
    PSO2 Trivia:
    Crits are bad, m'kay?       Buffs/Heals ignore equipment

    Facet is pretty good for abusing invincibility while still doing damage, but I can't help but feel it's still lacking. I guess I wish it was stronger. BS would still be better mobbing due to its longer range.

    It's still more useful than that post was.

    Honestly, I'm fairly happy with where Fighter is right now. Of course, that may be because I don't main it, but I like being able to take a break from being absurdly OP on my gunner and actually enjoy combat while soloing sometimes.

    Fighter is in that sweet spot where it doesn't feel weak like HU but doesn't trivialize the game like GU and BR.

    Besides Mining EQ, which of the other quest gives Fighter similar problems?

    TAs - they're still super efficient in VH4/1SH runs

    Falz - Single target DPS

    AQs - For the best results, you'd need to switch to Hu/Fi, use Ranger units and the best gunslash available.

    Mining Defense - I wouldn't recommend Fighter here

    Extreme Quest - they were efficient back then and still is today. All you need here is one Ranger to speed up your runs.

    So yeah, 1 out the 5 main things a player does daily in PSO2 and now everyone believes fighter is trash? SMH

    VH is outdated and therefore irrelevant. Any class can be efficient in VH TAs with the power creep going on this game.

    Falz - Single target DPS
    One and only thing Fi shines in. Too bad Falz is a rare and random emergency quest.

    Playing PP starved, weaker "wannabe Gu" for 45minutes just so you can use your Fi weapons for 1min. Yeah, how about no.

    Tried it once as Fi, spend the following 2 hours after EQ raging at SEGA.

    Everything in XQs dies in a flash, Gu, Br or Fo for that matter kills mobs before you even get to JA your PA as Fi. Simply put, you're nothing but dead weight for most of the part.

    More like 4 out of 5.
    Fighter works best against bosses, even then Fi can have problems due to godawful and outdated stance design. Problem is, 90% of the time you spend in PSO, you spend fighting against normal mobs. And that's something Fi is terrible at, Chaos Riser could've saved Fi mobbing but SEGA managed to fuck it up.
    When I play Fi, I want to use Fi weapons. Gunlash does not count as one.
