As for your question, Chain Finish is pretty huge, and Chain Trigger is really useful. I would sooner take points out of Attack PP if your focus is lots of close range burst damage. If your focus is for trash mobs, you can keep your Chain skills topped up but get some Aerial Advance to boost damage while juggling without sacrificing your boss killing or PP generation.
Unless it's been changed, Twin Mechs and Rifles only get the boosted PP regen from Attack PP on the first bullet in each spread, so you effectively only get +25% or +33% regen instead of +100%. If you're switching to Gunslash for your normals, then you get the full bonus, but otherwise it's not really helping as much as you'd expect.
