Oh and random question within this question... whats up with the wluffs creatures... those big red and black floating balls.

That is a healing pod of sorts and mobs will attempt to destroy it.

As for the Wulfs, they cause status ailments when touched, unless you're talking about Code: Avoid.

Once I got a 7* rares from making one break! Do break them if you can.

Those are the floating black pods, right? If so then the one time i did see them all my attacks just went through them. I was thinking they was invincible and should just stay away from them. How'd you even hit it?

Those red balls can only be destroyed by certain Techs and gun shots only. (do not use any melee/PA)
They occasionally drop rare items (like those found in red containers).

Hm... Well I'm a ranger and all of my shots just go through them too or get absorbed. Stupid floating balls

Regular wulffs I've "killed" several times over with regular assault rifle shots - try those. If not that, gunslash bullets might work.
