Upon character creation, I was asked to create a MySynth. Can this NPC join your party in Online Multiplayer? If so how? Any help would be very much appreciated =)

It can join you. When you set up your party, change your settings to 3 players or less and then you can invite it

Same can be said with any partner card you recieve via story. I tend to Invite Magashi alot.

Speaking of Synths... I recommend you bring the 510 series... Once you got the 514, He can attack but never break your chain...
