I'm in the beta too, I would recommend using the PSO2 Community Chat IRC that I've been hosting for nearly a year (direct link should work without installing anything)

I would be up for group messaging, but I honestly feel that this would work the best. As it did so in Alpha 2, CBT, Pre-OBT and OBT.

i actual highly disagree with reguard to typing. i can type way faster with dpad+X than i can with the touch pad. thats why im glad more stuff on the vita is starting to support dpad input.

or rather i can type fast with the touchpad but it will be riddled with typos unless i use texting speak wich i abhor.

With how fast the game is, typing with the d-pad doesn't help. Sure they're typos with a touch screen input, but it's generally faster.
