EDIT: Also, in the meantime, block 20 is a great place to meet people. Just tell the people in the lobby that you're new and they'll reach out to you.

I wrote an AC purchasing guide for JP PSO2 a long time ago. I don't play PSO2 anymore, but I still play Blue Burst sometimes. Maybe I'll catch you on there!

I do, I started a character on Ship 1 on accident, got to level 3 then decided to restart. I have a lvl 1 cast hunter.

OP, I'd be happy to accompany you if you'd like. I'm a new player myself (not new to the series), so I'm still low level. I usually play evenings (US: CST) and weekends, and I'm in love with this game. Whatever I can do to help.

Yes, Block 20 is the unofficial ENglish block, and there's also a Meet and Greet event today. That starts in about 1 hour

There are a number of servers, or 'ships' as they're referred to. Ship 2 (where I am) and Ship ... 10? ... tend to have the highest population of English-speaking players.
Blocks are more or less subsections of the specific servers, and help to divide up the population to relieve server lag.
What I assume she's saying is that if you go to Block 20 on Ship 2 you'll probably be amidst a lot of English-speaking folks.
