Any news on a fix? The translator is still broken

Well, until it gets fixed, I have a tip for those moments when you really need the translation.
You can copy paste the stuff in the Chat Translator window into Google Translate.

From what I understand, something got changed on Google's end and now its not linking up properly.

I just tested my Chat translator and it seems to be working now, I'm very happy about that

Yup. The same things happening here.
Is there any chance on a fix for the tool? I doubt it'll fix itself

Bump: Today it seems to work normally again.

For those that can't open PSO2 chat translator and it's due to some error, try this step:

I just deleted the file(s) inside the folder 1.3.0.1 and it can be opened again. Some configuration need to be redone though, but all's well.

EDIT: It seems, a few minutes after it worked, it's back to not working, rip. D:

Version 1.4 of PSO2 Chat Translator has been released!

Again, I'm sorry for the problems you've all been encountering with the chat translator. Hopefully this new version will fix the issue with failing translations.

Please check the first post to get the latest download links. The changelog is below.

Version 1.4 (October 12, 2015):

• Rectified an issue with failing translations.
• Improved the translation options by allowing customisation of how player names and chat messages are displayed, through the use of macros.
• Added hotkeys to scroll the chat log up or down by one page. They can be set up at the bottom of the "General" tab in the "Options" window.
• Added options to filter which chat channels are displayed.
• Added an option to hide unrecognised and invalid chat commands.
• Updated the list of known lobby actions to include many of the more recent ones.
