You mean Hiei set for melee? Of course it's viable. I used the set till I get 11* set. And IMO, it's the best set melee players can use until they get either Saiki or Brisa.

As for Hiei, you want them to at least Special Craft Lv3. With this special craft, you can gain either 100HP or 10PP per unit as individual bonus.

You could make something like:

1. All 3 units Special Craft HP for 300HP bonus.
2. All 3 units Special Craft PP for 30PP bonus
3. Balance between the two recipes, like 200HP and 10PP.


To gain this, 1st you have to craft all of the Hiei units to extend Level 2 by yourself. Then, you could order craft from other crafters for the Special Craft Lv3. This process usually take around 2-3m meseta, could be less (Lazy to count xD)

To use Crafted Lv3 Hiei set, you need around Level 50/35 for main/subclass.

So I created new char and planning on using both katana and bullet bow depending on situations... Is Braver Mag good for hybrid (melee/range) use? Also what Photon Moves should I get for both weapons...?

Sakura end is good but as a general rule of thumb take everything Great Pan says with a grain of salt.

Isn't it super strong in SEA PSO2 though? I remember seeing a video of it a while back and Bellion commenting that they were doing more damage using Sakura End with a red katana than we could with Orochi Agito or something along those lines.

This is assuming he's still playing SEA PSO2.

I-I said it's good. I just mean it's bad to make a habit of trusting someone who says Fi's best subclass is Fo and that they have a full Overend palette for sword.
