As for Part II/artwork contest - is there a rule for backgrounds?
Must there be a specific background or a background from the "game world", rather?

No specific background, you can use any background you like from PSO or PSU or PSO2. Or you can image your own dream background too!

I can still remember the great pieces submitted for the former years' Festas, and I am sure this year won't be any different in that regard.
It's events like these that makes our NA/EU community something special, and it's thanks to sponsors and event holders like you guys. So a hearty thanks from me for that.

Well, now that everything's said, it's exciting to see the Phasion Festa return!
I bet Yue will dish out something incredible!

Shame its art work only, the many among us who don't/can't draw won't be able to get anything out of this, specially considering the prizes what they are instead of web money I find it a huge disappointment personally . I still wish you guys good luck with your event though.

Well I would assume you don't *have* to use photoshop. Photoshop is beginning to be a term for image editing in general. Any image editor of your choice would do. A free alternative is GIMP.

Erm, for the artwork section,
Can it still be drawn using photoshop?
Or I guess another way to ask it is:
Is section 1 just screenshot-editing and section 2 (digital) composition?
