What is different about online and offline mode besides mult

I'm already beat ultimate mode on the gamecube and i was thinking of buying the modem adaptor for online use.

I already know about the rappies, the lounge, and the online quest, but is there any inhanced gameplay, new items, or better characters?

Online monsters are much tougher. It's more fun online with the multiplayer experience. Only certain items can be gotten online. It's only 9 bucks a month, and you spend about that much on snacks per week anyway.

Well there is also the battle rules. Offline there is rules 1-6 and online there is only rules 1-3 which seems pretty gey to me. other than that im not sure
