Stupid question?

I just acquired the username "Jim" on Skullheart, the official Skullgirls forum and I'm all giddy about it. It got me wondering if the name "Jim" was available here. Well, turns out it's taken, but the guy hasn't logged on in 14 years. Is there some kind of process where I could try to acquire the name?

Really hoping there's a way, but either way, I got it on Skullheart and noone can take that from me.
