It's 6%. The latent has nothing to do with its value, it's more the fact that it's the strongest 10* GS and it only drops from a rare boss that was previously AQ/XQ only. Given how crappy the rates are, I doubt that'll change much even if it does drop in quarry.
The latent does have everything to do with the Gunslash.
The gun slash may be the strongest but that 6% of the latent make sit THAT MUCH stronger so yes it matters for any who plays this game to become stronger IT MATTERS.

Both of you are iterating that it's the strongest gunslash. The item would be worth the most without the latent b/c it's the strongest - and b/c of the latent is stronger. Basically, since it's the strongest in both categories it's worth a lot, congratulations, neither of you are wrong =P

Just correcting him. 16% would be a lot bigger than the 6% it is. I almost thought they had changed it with the latest patch before I double checked.
But yeah, given that it's only 13 ratk higher than gunbraver, it's really only valuable because of its rarity.
Honestly, % dmg > static dmg - everyone knows that. It's the same reason Yasminkov 9000 is so powerful, and why adding Immediate Strike on Flamme Revolvers was a HUGE buff.

Anyone min/maxing and wants the elite top end best knows 6% is that much more than the other guy without it...Rarity is the single biggest reason though - look at Elena's Roar TMGs - they have great top end dmg, but the Potential is a bit uselesss when compared to Flamme Revolvers or Pandora Extreme, and both of those actually grind higher dmg. Elena's Roar go for 30m+ usually, and it has nothing to do with being BIS or top end...rarity & scarcity - marketing 101.
Flamme Revolvers should cost more when looking at performance - everything about them is BETTER in both dmg and potential now than Elena's Roar. However, Elena's Roar is really rare...

The point is that Gunbraver also has the same latent.
I revised my post to reiterate and support Galeforce when he/she stated - it's the rarity of the gunslash. Supporting case & point - Elena's Roar - they're not even a top 3 endgame pick in terms of overall performance, but very expensive because of the rarity.Originally Posted by Z-0

Kind of Off-Topic, but the 10% dmg boost to Natives ensures that Elena's Roar still is better to use versus Natives than the Flamme Revolver with its 5% JA boost, right?
In case of Gunbraver and Emp. Axeon, since both boost the same latent, the dmg difference might be negliable, yeah. But in the end the Emp. still is the strongest Gunslash. And people do pay millions for a tiny bit of dmg on top of that they already deal in this game. What else would they spend their money on, exactly?

When looking at one enemy type, sure...kind of like Zexia Bullet on Machines, but most players I know prefer not to limit their max DPS on one sole enemy type. And for what Zexia / Elena's cost...you could easily get a fully upgraded 50 ele Y9Ks and have some left over.
