While preforming a long term investigation of the newly discovered planet Machia, the Delta Valiant, a ship belonging to the Arks Special Planetary Exploration Force Alter, is suddenly attacked from the planet and shot down. The ship was able to make an emergency landing on the planet but Machia was a strange world where photons had no power. Additionally, where no civilization was supposed to exist, the survivors are attacked by the Gigantes, a large, heavily armed, artificial living weapon. The small number of survivors set out to investigate the planet in order to determine who attacked them, find a way off the planet, and find out how to return to the fleet.

Life surviving on an inhospitable world begins now.
