How does meseta shooter work?

Shoot the mesetans and catch the coins that fall.
Don't shoot the Umbras.
Don't catch the bombs.

There's probably more meta things but I haven't played it much.

That's actually for the messages at the bottom of the screen, such as "X has become level #" and "X has picked up Y."
