For your first question, you just need to have them on you. My Force can't equip these weapons and yet, they work.

For your 2nd question: RNG
Seriously, you can have all the drop boost that you want, you can still end up with cheap Rares that you can't cube. That being said, the higher the difficulty and the higher the TD (TD3 gives more than the other 2), the more cubes you'll have.

Also, Magatsu is what you should do if you're farming for cubes. I average out 3 battles for phase 1 on XH before phase 2 and usually end up in total with more than 80 cubes.

No... RNG isn't an answer. I get a consistent 25-30 ex cubes from TD SH. I can expect XH is even more?

They say you do SH for EXP and XH for drops. Last week when I did TD1 on XH, I barely got enough cubes to cover the 250% drop boost that I used, so ya, RNG. Got a bunch of ★9 and it was that sold for 1k a pop

Wait, so we get early maintenance of many hours for little things but they'll only need 1 extra hour to add all of this stuff 0_o

You have to understand them, the early maintenances before this one were to unplug-plug back the servers.
