Why did the fan translators call ダークファルス・ルーシャー "Dark Falz Loser"? It seems like an odd choice, but I'm willing to bet there's some joke or association that I don't know about.

Pretty mush because it is a pun that is difficult to get across when translating. Luther and Loser sound similar in Japanese, and his title 【敗者】 basically translated to Vanquished or Loser.

Probably the same difficult to translate the pun directly thing. My best guess would be it would be like pronouncing Loser with a mocking lisp, ie "Loo-ther."

「ルーシャー」 is the name of the mag device, so translating that to "Loser" would be very odd.

I was actually the one who was being dumb. lol I saw the mag's name and thought it was taken directly from the boss's name. Should have double-checked.

However, great information with the boss's title. I was still kind of curious about the spelling, so that was very informative!

How did you apply patch now? Or did you use the tweaker?
When i run launcher it says server in maitenance so the patch doesn't install, hope it doesn't take too long to install, have it predownloaded at least.

Seems the English patch on the main-site is broken same for Large. Both apply nothing.

Patch distribution are "temporarily" halted by SEGA in order to make maintenance work more convenient for them.
You can download it earlier, but you can't right now.

Wait until patch download resumed by SEGA.
