If you want to do 'half-half", make it full DEX with 5 Skill Points in Braver Mag.
That way, you'll be "half-half" AND have DEX bonus.

DEX mags with Braver MAG are great, because you're basically getting 1 ATK point per point of DEX, though it's split across S and R-ATK - which is nice when you want to hybrid. As an example, you could do 87/86 S-ATK/R-ATK, or you could do 175 DEX, which would give you 175 DEX, 86 S-ATK, and 86 R-ATK - that's a -lot- of free DEX!

Bear in mind that you'll have to decide if you want to take a stance or put more SP into Katana Combat / Rapid Shot as a result of going hybrid like that.

Either way though, you're not technically going to get 'max DPS' using a hybrid build. But you can certainly deal damage, either way.
