The all-new Super Hard mode will be coming in an Early October update. Here are things you should know about the new difficulty:
Super Hard: Forest ~ Floating Continent
- Upon release, the difficulty will only span from the Forest to the Floating Continent due to the level cap. It is unknown at this time what level or client order prerequisites will need to be met in order to unlock the difficulty.
Unlike Hard and Very Hard, Super Hard acts more on its own, introducing somewhat of a 'Second Tier' of ranks, so-to-speak (the first being Normal, Hard, and Very Hard). This means that the difficulty itself will play out much differently from previous ones.
Here are some notable changes for Super Hard mode:
- Enemies will move faster and have buffed up attacks.
- Bosses have had their attack patterns changed.
- A new type of infection core will be introduced that can perform various actions.
- Falz Arms can appear in regular fields.
New Level Cap: Level 65
- New skills for each class.
It is unknown at this time whether or not a Skill Tree Reset Pass will be included with the Super Hard mode update. - New Latent Abilities.
New 10* Weapons and Units in Super Hard
Other Features
- Franka will now wear a Chef Apron.
- New cooking-related weapons will be added into the game. The return of Akiko's Frying Pan, anyone?
- New Emergency Trial: Defuse the Time Bomb!
Tagamikazuchi
Tagamikazuchi, a new rare enemy, will be added into the game. It looks like a rare variant of the Fang/Snow Banshee.
New AC Scratch: Ultimate Fighter
New Emergency Quest: Lead Border Break
In this Emergency Quest, two Cougar NXs can appear.
Seabed (Arriving in November)
Along with a set of brand new Oceanids and Bird Darkers, Seabed will also have the following as bosses:
Decol Maluda: A Darker boss that spins around like a top.
Biol Meduna: An Oceanid boss that uses both electric and laser attacks. It bears a cross between a jellyfish and an octopus.
