New Sonic Cartoon to show on Cartoon Network in 2014

The show, provisionally called Sonic Boom, is being produced by Sega of America and French animation company Genao Productions. The initial production run will produce 52 11-minute episodes (aimed at children aged six to 11) that will chronicle the adventures of Sonic and Tails as they battle Dr. Eggman, natch.

Welp, here comes a Sonic cartoon. This is going to be done in CG. Sega is allegedly going to be working closer with the producers to make sure everything follows the franchise. Also, teaser images.

I can't stand CG animation as it is, and if thats the teaser trailer is showing im going to be greatly disappointed.

Tails is pretty much regretting building Sonic and Knuckles those cybernetic enhancements right about now. They just spend all day trying to flex in front of each other.

What did you do to the world's precious knocklz...?

Anyhow I love the new ninja turtles cartoon, The way it's animated is done in a way where it's not like "ugh another awkward looking CGi cartoon..." The frames move quick and pause a lot, and they take a lot of nice angles and keep the action sharp. So the characters don't move and act like they're inflated with air and jello.

But looking at sonic's quills and knuckle's bruce time anatomy I can tell this is going to turn out painful to look at...

Also Amy doesn't have to exist.

If you need a token girl make or use someone cooler.

Especially not someone who exists just to be in love with Sonic.
