How did you end up in PSO-W?

Was a huge fan of the original PS games, and I played the hell out of the Gamecube version of PSO.

I played Phantasy Star Universe, but I did offline only, and I didn't want to waste my money yet for PSU.

A couple years later, watching TGS, I saw PSO2 was announced. I was so excited for it, but, a year after 2 came out, I said "screw it" and tried to find an English Patch, if one was possible.

It led me here. I followed some guides, then I decided to join the forums.

i registered pso-w around 2003 with the username Vega.

The account does not exist anymore.


i was around 14 years old. but i wasnt used to english slang just the "school" english. so i never understood completely what people said, and ended up being kicked from the chat that the site used to have.

frustrated, i gave up on pso-w and went to schtack forums wich treated me in a friendly way.

later on 2005 i joined pso-w with my new name Gama. and thats been my "internetz" name ever since.

Chance meeting with "Lynx" while playing PSO v1. He had lots of rare items he was showing off.

A friend of his joined the game we were in and he stopped to take photos of his friend's items.

I asked him what he was doing that for and he said for this website. (PSO World)

I got the address from him, checked it out and started to help take photos of items as well.

I ended up on here due to PSU related stuff when i first made a account during MAG 1, that's when it was free to go online just for a while until i wanted a renewing sub and i used to come here to sell stuff i made or founded and for info when i was on PC/PS2, was mainly a PC player mind you.

I wanted to know if forces were good in PS0 for DS. Found out they were treated especially well in that version early on . I really got into the site after pso2 release though

started using the site around the time of the closed beta for screenshots and videos people would post. later used the guides to make an account and download the game. after a few months of lurking i decided to make an account here.

I played PSO GC a lot and came across this site when looking where to find some drops and if Olga Flow or Dark Falz dropped anything. Made a account, met a lot of and people never left.
