I almost wonder if I'd be better off buying dista set with my stones.

But then it'd be kind of a waste of my 3 free ones.

But I do want dista way more than any of the weapons.

You can't buy armors with big stones anyway.

They require 50 "middle tier" stones.

There is 'no weather' far less than 50% of the time in free exploration areas.

It's really that bad? I was planning on getting the EX talis soon but I was thinking that weather effects were pretty rare so I would get the 12% damage bonus almost all the time. I'm having doubts if I want to bother getting it now. I guess it would still be good in boss rooms, but there aren't enough weapon slots.

It also sounds like it would be difficult to know if a weather effect is present or not. Maybe I'll just upgrade my Motav and not get the EX talis.

The weapons are very strong even without a potential, though.
If I ever get one, it'll probably be the gunblade, too, which is anything but a boss killer.

A weather effect of any kind occouring is generally extremely common. There are exceptions with specific quests and boss rooms, but as for free fields and one of the last 2ish arks quests for an area, that latent will not work for a huge portion of the time.

I think I'll get the partisan myself. I was considering the twin lotus, but SH drops haven't given the autumn break much (if any) competition in its own category. Other than that, I've got a twin kamui for daggers, and rogue coffin is literally useable with any mag, race, gender, and class

Partisans and wired lances have the fewest trade-in weapons, too. I hope the trade-in weapons for the seabed will include at least partisans.

You get 2 excubes every time you "level up".
