question for the mods

since this isnt a off-topic post in someone elses thread. was wondering why its possible for the tweaker to exist which installs the english patch which links you to psumods the supposed site that isnt allowed to be posted here.... and also it is modifying client files (yes changing text counts)

the whole double standard thing is really bothering me.

I remember about a year ago when we weren't allowed to even talk about the EN language patch or anything like that. I don't know when they decided to lax back on their own rules so much, but it doesn't bother me.

As for what you mentioned in the OP, I don't know. Never really thought about it, let alone cared.

I do find it odd that pictures mentions the patch address get removed and yet an .exe program thread that includes the patch itself is allowed. Good question.

Actually if this site is hell bent on following the TOS wouldn't that mean all the guides and links to connecting to the server should be removed?

I'll address it with the admin and see what they tell me. Realistically, a huge majority of stuff posted here would be removed, but we'll see what they say.

I'd say it's akin to posting "search pso2 english patch on google"

perhaps it needs another layer of abstraction by not linking the Tweaker directly on the forums, but essentially it's the same thing
