Try looking in the Ultimate Caves. That's where I seemed to find most of my red weapons at.

I can't believe you got pissed after ONE Mil Lily. People see 20+ of whichever enemy they are hunting without ever finding that weapon. You found it on your second try. You got damn lucky, so don't whine over something so stupid. 4 hours worth of piping has found me 2 Hildetorrs, one dropped meseta the other a monomate.
