on topic, the only thing that does is it allows you to roll the dice for free and get no reward, you could be offput by a 100 fail streak but ingame decide to go for it and avoid it completely. or vice versa

It does help for planning affix fodders, but as long as people dont take the odds as they say on paper it's good
