    Lightbulb Toast's AC Guide for Sane People

    (UPDATED 4/12/14 - At this point, this guide is deprecated. There are now arguably much easier ways to get AC. Here is what I recommend:

    Arks Layer @ http://arks-layer.com/webmoney.php
    Why? Because since you probably have gotten tons of enjoyment out of this game thanks to AIDA & co's hard work, support them by buying your AC here! Don't be a cheap bastard!

    PSO2es @ http://www.pso-world.com/forums/show....php?p=3119913
    Use the Android game, or the game installed in BlueStacks on your PC, to buy AC directly.

    However, the guide below remains accurate.)

    ================================================== ====================

    (UPDATED 1/26/14 - Info to enter for address if you haven't done this yet on your Sega JP account.)

    Hi there! It's your favorite uncle Toast here to fill you in on buying AC. There is no magic involved. You do not need a Japanese address (I will provide one). You do not need a WebMoney account. I am going to make this as dead-easy as possible for you.

    I am making a few assumptions here - that is:

    - You have a PayPal account. If you don't, I can't help you.
    - You know how to use your PayPal account. If you don't, I can't help you.
    - You know your login credentials for PSO2. The ones you login to the game with. If you don't, I can't help you.
    - You know how to fill out a form to buy things on the internet. If you don't, I can't help you.

    Briefly, here's what we'll be doing:

    - Purchasing WebMoney, which is a form of prepaid currency to use on the interwebs.
    - Using that WebMoney to then buy AC.

    Ready? Here we go!

    STEP 1 - Buying WebMoney

    1. Go to JPWM, at http://jpwm.net.
    (Yes, there are other places to get WebMoney. I am telling you to go here. Just do it. If you want to go somewhere else, go ahead, but don't expect any help.)

    2. From the menu at the top, select the amount of WebMoney you want.

    3. Add it to your cart.

    4. Checkout, creating an account in the process. Just use your own address! Use your own email! Don't get creative!

    5. After the last checkout step, you will be routed to PayPal for payment. Login to your PayPal account, select whatever method you want to pay with, and make it so.

    6. After you've paid, you will be redirected back to JPWM's Thank You page. On this page is a link to download your WebMoney code!

    I know you didn't read this part or skimmed over it, so here is the link to go download your WebMoney code:
    https://www.jpwm.net/shop/index.php?...count/download

    It will look like this:

    See that little blue button on the right? Click that and you will download your WebMoney code. It will look like this:

    7. Hooray! You now have a WebMoney code and can use it to purchase AC.

    STEP 2 - Buying AC

    0. Use Google Chrome for this - the built-in translation and links to a Hiragana typewriter will help immensely.

    1. Go here:
    https://cha.isao.net/profile_oem/OEM...duct_name=pso2

    2. Enter your PSO2 login credentials. Your SEGA ID is case sensitive!

    3. Enter the Hiragana captcha. (Chrome will offer to open up a visual typewriter for you; or, you can find it here: http://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/hiragana.htm)

    If you cannot do this yourself, well... I mean, it's super freaking easy, it's basic pattern recognition, which us humans excel at. Don't be lazy.
    Or, see this thread:
    http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=203925

    4. Once all credentials are entered, the button on the left is the Login button.

    4a. After you login, if you see a page plastered with Japanese text and two buttons, hit the button on the right. It's just bugging you to change your password.

    5. Now that you're logged in, guess what button to press? That's right, the one under "Buy Arks Cash"! Press it!

    6. Select the denomination of WebMoney you purchased, then select the WebMoney button. Click the button on the left to proceed.

    6a. AT THIS POINT, if you have not yet entered address information into your Sega account, you will be asked to do so:

    I'm going to make this easy for you. Follow this translated guide. Copypaste in the values I've provided below the screenshot:

    1: あかさ
    2: くすち
    (If you get any errors, just make up a new set of names using: http://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/hiragana.htm)
    3: アカサ
    4: クスチ
    (Again, any errors, just make up a new set of names using: http://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/hiragana.htm)
    5: 120-0023
    6: 東京都 足立区 千住曙町42-4
    7: 03-5739-3341
    8: Left is Male, right is Female
    Then, hit the left-hand button to continue.

    You will be brought to a confirmation page that looks like this:

    Hit the left-hand button to continue, and proceed with the rest of the steps!

    ================================================== ========
    ================================================== ========
    ================================================== ========
    ================================================== ========

    7. You will see a confirmation page. Click the button on the left to proceed.

    8. You will be brought to the WebMoney site. Enter your code into the boxes, then click the bottom-most big grey button.

    9. That's it! After you get to the next page with the big gold button, you will have your AC in your PSO2 account. You don't need to do anything else. (If you were signed into PSO2 at the time you will have heard a cheery "bling!" sound effect.)

    Now go spend your AC on some good stuff!

    Why is the premium on the 5000 more than the 3000?

    Do you mean, why do you get some extra AC if you spend 5000 instead of 3000?

    It's incentive to spend more $ at once. If you go to a nice restaurant and spend for 2 people, the kitchen won't give you crap for free. If you go and spend for 10 people, you'll get some free desert and stuff. Know what I mean?

    No, I mean, why does 5000 WM cost more than 3000 WM per unit?

    As in, buying 3x5000=$204 but 5x3000=$200

    Oh. Dunno, you'd have to take that up with JPWM. I'm sure the justification will be that technically you're buying 5150, not 5000.

    For the logging in to your arks account. Does the username have to be in all lowercase like when signing in? Freaking like 28 tries and apparently doing it wrong.

    As far as I know, yes, username should be all lowercase, but passwords of course are case sensitive.
