how does the ancient oath weapon potential affect damage exactly? does it add/multiply the elemental weakness damage bonus, or is it a total damage multiplier?

just needing to know before adding extra levels in it

also, I'm guessing not, but do you lose the weapon potential if using it as the base item for adding abilities

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Ancient Oath's damage multiplier is a multiplier.

No, latents are not part of an affix so there is no worrying bout losing it when adding abilities.

The JP wiki says that Ancient Oath multiplies total damage.
