Default Help! I keep getting this error when I launch PSO2!

    help
i spent like 20 hours downloading pso2, downloaded the english patch from here (i think i did it right), then downloaded tweaker.
i just tried to open pso2 for the first time and got this error:

    お客様の環境は、現在の設定に対応しておりません。
    簡易猫画設定を調整してお試しください。

and then my computer got this blue screen and restarted.

i’ve tried several times to open pso2, it downloads all the gameguard things (the box in the upper left corner), the window goes black like the game is about to start, but then i get the error.

i've went on pso2 Tweaker and did the "Fix GameGuard Errors" but it still doesn't work.

does anyone know what's going on? what should i do?

Have you checked your video card drivers?

it's not uncommon to get a bsod from gameguard, it means that something is conflicting with it and most likely it's software and not hardware

    thank you guys

    my graphics card is
Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family
my processor is (shit, i know)
    Intel(r) Core(tm)2 Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83 GHz

i disabled my antivirus before doing anything with the game but i have this "microsoft security essentials" thing that came with my computer and i don't know how to disable it or if it would affect the game

i just opened the pso2 launcher and changed the graphics settings to the lowest, launched pso2 and got all the way to after it says "sega" and then it crashes with no error but it DOES have a bsod

EDIT: also i make sure that nothing else is running when trying to do anything with the game

seems like yours can't handle the game even at PSP graphics. . .

Your laptop isn't powerful enough to run PSO2, even on the lowest settings.

On-board graphics won't have much luck. Apparently this chipset doesn't do ANY shaders etc which PSO2 requires.

Shaders have been around since 2000 ffs.

I have a laptop that I use for PSO2 when traveling or going outside, its 2 gb memory, core 2 duo 2.0 gb, ATI 256 mb graphic card, and it runs pso2 flawlessly with low graphics and not bad with level2 graphics. First when it was into Win 7 I got the bug of PCs and NPCs disappearing when I turn the graphics into 2, but after installing Win8.1, the bug is fixed.
So the point is to use Win8.1, maybe it boosts you lappy a little . And yeah make sure that your Graphic card is properly installed, if not the game wont lunch.
    Busy doing nothing...

Did you change everything or just use the slider?
    Change [Texture Resolution] to Compressed
    Turn off shaders.
In the third (screen setup) tab, change to [Windowed]
    [Window Size] 640 x 480
    [Maximum Framerate] 30 FPS

You can also try changing you Windows theme to Basic.
