ARKS is really just an expendable experimental group only made to feel important when really, all your work is retconned by other people who take all the credit that you never knew you achieved.
I think the question we should be asking is, how sustainable are the environments we're fighting in if each person has slain over one hundred thousand creatures to get where they are? And how are they getting stronger if we keep killing them all? Perhaps, do they feed on our violence? Or do the souls of the dead inhabit the living, giving them strength?
In trying to fix our strife, have we made it worse?
