Welp, at least the show is entertaining.
IT WASN'T A COMPLETE LOSS
It's pretty bland if the demo and videos I've watched of it are any indication :/
Wow... I still can't believe these forums are still up. I signed up for this site more than 12 years ago. Amazing...
Based on the early trailers I figured it would be a bit like Sonic Adventure 2, which would have been awesome in my book.
Everyone's telling me it's not that, so that's disappointing.
It is most definitely better though, so there's that.
It's more a bad Jack and Daxter game with a ton of platforming puzzles, quite a few bugs, FPS about 10-15 almost all the time instead of originally being 30, bland music, repetitive dialog, Huge and empty levels, while going remarkably slow for a Sonic game. The only thing that can seems like it takes elements of Sonic's gameplay is the speedmock sections and even then its more like Temple Run at most.
This game is BAD--Do not play it. I wonder if this is sega apology for PSO2 not coming to America or outside of Japan. =/

Planning to replay PSP2 and prove to myself that the chaining mechanic do not slow down the pace of the combat. =/
Planning to replay PSU (ep1 and 2) for story and gameplay, PSZ and PSP2 offline mode Only Also I'm keeping my FC for psz up though the Network Mode is closed.
I was watching some LPs on Youtube. They said it was the worst game since Sonic '06, and boy is it. It seriously looks like a Beta test.
What's wrong with these people? Does the name 'Sonic' just denote that developers shouldn't give a shit about making a good game?
Someone should make a comprehensive list of all the devs that have worked on Sonic games since they started getting bad, find out which ones suck, and see if there's some connection, lol.
Some of the staff working in Big Red Button actually left during the development of the game.
