normal EU(German) chars playable on PLUS US version?

Hello everyone, I have a very difficult question...

I played PSO 1&2 for more than 2500 hours+ and now I want to buy the PLUS version because of all the online missions and so on.

I own the german normal version and the PLUS version is only in US available. I know, that I have to use the freeloader, to play the game, but can I play with my old chars further in the US version?

I need to know this, because I know, that the chars arn´t usable, if I buy the JP PLUS version....

I hope that anyone can help me or tipp me off, how I can solve my problem.

Or you could buy a broadband adapter and just play on your own server. I am sure you could utilize the power of the internet to figure this out for yourself. . . .

i had the pal version of 1+2 , got the plus version and had to start again . game wont let you use data from pal to ntsc . sorry , still worthgetting plus version tho if your not online
