You've never had to, say, installed a hard drive in your computer?

I would get another radio but, my car has a flush dash and not a normal radio system that can just be swapped out. If it was an option I would definitely do so. As it stands I would have to buy a dash kit and radio and would be talking over $300 just for the parts. And while I'd save on labor by doing it myself, I just don't see much point in doing this to an 11 year old car.

When it comes to cars and/or electronics I am not somebody who is able to actually do things. I can change a tire on my car and that's about it.
The instructions really are easy and detailed, so it's something to keep in mind should you ever decide to give it a shot.

And I know a lot of people that can't change tires, so it's cool :P

    Cool, I'll take a look.

There's also the chance that I should maybe start looking for a new car, as this one has been giving me a fair amount of trouble in the last few months.

I just really don't feel like shopping for cars right now, though. Trying to plan (and most importantly, save) for a wedding makes me not want to spend money on anything big.

So maybe I will look for a new radio.

Worst case scenario? You take out the radio you have now, realize you're out of your depths, put everything back, and return it.

Best case scenario? You get your hands a little dirty (always good) and become more comfortable with something like this in the future.
