Using a controller with pso2

I have a ps4 controller that works awesomely with warframe, and is recognized by pso2. The problem is that for some reason in pso2 it automatically maps the camera angle control to my laptop's touchpad and L2 for whatever reason. When I press L2 the camera continually tracks up after release, and tracks down when I hold it. The same happens if I move the right analog stick in any direction, though I can pan the camera left and right with it. Anyone know what the problem might be? The controller is brand new and in full working order with everything else.

well somehow following the instructions of the video and that link i drastically improved the problem. At least now the camera doesnt act like its on meth. still though need to figure out how to map it properly. Moving the right analog stick right and left now pans the camera up and down and L2 and R2 left and right. if it never gets better than this then thats fine but still trying to fgure it out.

also does anyone know how to switch the control sheme back to keyboard and mouse if i ever wanted to do that? cause i have no idea how to disable directchat in pso2
